About Me

Ann is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is Board Eligible National Certified Counselor (NCC) with training and completing Certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her trainings include CBT, IFS and Gottman Level II, Certification in Thanatology (CIT), and beginning trainings in Brainspotting and Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy VR.

Ann specializes in individual, couples and family psychotherapy and maintains a private practice in Webster Groves , Missouri serving St. Louis City/St. Louis County and surrounding areas.

With years of experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Lindenwood University, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are bereavement, grief/loss, marital issues, mediation, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, sexual/emotional/physical abuse and life transitions.

Ann was an Adjunct Professor for the Master's Program in the Professional and School Counseling Department at Lindenwood University from 2009-2018. One of her passions was to facilitate grief groups for Missouri Baptist Grief House. She facilitated and co-facilitated groups dealing with the death of a loved one. The group losses include child, spousal, parental, sibling, grandparent and friend from traumatic and anticipatory death. Ann has knowledge working directly with children, adolescent and adult through the grieving and healing process.

Continuing to stay with her beliefs of helping others during difficult times in their lives, Ann has facilitated groups with The Wellness Community which serves those diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers.

Ann is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
